    I ran a guy with a SOHC VTEC CRX...he has Header, intake and exhuats like my Si CRX...We ran into mid third. I was a length ahead of him.

    Came to find out his VTEC solenoid stopped working! ...probably the RPM switch. He would have ran ahead of me. And he had the Si Distributor, so from what I can tell that was an Si ECU. That was before clutch/flywhell/ZC ECU/SFC. Basically when a ran a 15.6~15.4, so when you think of it, you should be running at least that!

    As for the clutch, I never got mine running, just decided to stop while I hadn't tied up the parts in the car, which make more money sold off separately.

    I'd imagine it's an adjustment thing...but are you fully out on the adjuster? It didn't look like the bell housing was any deeper to me - the only thing I can think of which would cause a problem like that.

    does anyone know why the clutch in my car does not engauge untill the top of the pedal. I read up on a site somewhere, that this is a common problem, when it come to the SOHC VTEC swap. Any info on why, and how am I going to remedy this. I am in the process of tracking down the 5th gen electronics to give my a car a little more "go". Thanks for all of your guys help.

    My adjuster is all the way out and the thing just will not sem to enguage where it should... As for my VTEC solenoid, i thought about that, I can hit it with current and it clicks, but I can not tell if it enguages. Should the VTEC kicking in be a dramatic thing? I set my VTEC controller to about 5800, and put to the floor and the transition is nothing really. I have never driven another Honda with VTEC and I do not know how it "should" feel. I will try and get a new VTEC solenoid if that will fix the problem. Does anyone have one they can sell, or am I better off getting a new one????
